Chief Technology Officer

Company Overview IT Magnet is an Australian based software development company, specialise in Internet based application for Australian professional services sector to deliver business system and e-commerce solutions. Since the establishment of IT Magnet in 1998 we provided custom software solutions for many diverse clients. Some of the large corporations we have recently worked with include Roads and Traffic Authority NSW, RAMS Home Loans, Telstra, The University of NSW and Aussiepay. Position Summary The Chief Technology Officer (CTO), based in Dhaka office, reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technology development. The CTO is the company’s top technology executive, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. . Responsibilities Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships. Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management. Provide visible leadership for the company within the technology community. Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape. Requirements Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps. In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Object Oriented Programming In-depth knowledge of the latest Microsoft Development Technologies (ASP.NET, VB.NET, Access, SQL Server 2005, MSF - Team), other Microsoft Products (such as Office, Visio, Exchange, SharePoint), Oracle and other databases Excellent interpersonal and communication skills At least 5 years experience in software development, with 2 years in an executive-level position.
