Nestlé, one of the largest companies in the world, hired IT Magnet to provide
consulting services and to deliver a software system for budgeting and
forecasting. The software keeps track of expenses in relation to providing
product-delivery services to all its clients such as Woolworths, Coles and BP.
It takes data-inputs from various parts of the business which then go through a
smart approval process. The dynamic-report module of the software allows the

The Sydney Traffic Services department of the RTA creates a large number of engineering
drawings for road signage and installation. Being such a large organisation, and
the designers being located in various locations, it became necessary to install
centralised document management software. IT Magnet developed a fully tailored software
package that saved the designers a significant amount of time in searching for drawings,
browsing, reviewing and even reusing existing drawings. The software also keeps
track of changes made to each drawing and saves each change as a new version of

Complaint and Enquiry Tracking System
The Private Health Insurance Ombudsman was running a legacy database to manage thousands of
complaints and enquiries as well as to produce important reports for government departments
for funding. IT Magnet was hired to investigate the existing database, suggest improvement
opportunities, develop a brand new modern database and import the existing data into the
new database. IT Magnet replaced the legacy system with a fully web based system, backed by
Microsoft SQL database, allowing the employees to easily access the database from work, home
and remote locations. As the database contains advance auditing and user-permission modules
the managers at any stage can review the entire history of a complaint. The ability to

The Committee of Deans of Australian Medical Schools (CDAMS) was conducting a 12-month
project to design and initiate a national database that would collect reliable demographic
and educational data on medical students at all 15 Australian and several international
medical schools. It was intended that the database would provide an efficient and
cost-effective mechanism for evaluating undergraduate and graduate entry medical
education, as well as the short and long-term outcomes of medical education programs,
particularly rural health programs. Using web-based technology IT Magnet provided
